I no longer want any of the data that is on the iMac so the prospect of losing data does not concern me.įWIW yesterday, while in Snow Leopard, I attempted to delete a volume but a message on-screen informed me that I would need a newer Operating System in order to do so - so I re-installed El Capitan.
